Indeed, multiculturalism is an essential element that cannot be ignored (Correa, 2016). For Spanish Heritage Learners in the Spanish class, food presents an excellent opportunity to explore the rich and diverse Hispanic heritage. By examining traditional dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods, students can gain a deeper understanding of the history, culture, and diversity of Spanish-speaking countries.
